ATTICA — Anna Elizabeth "Betty" (Otterman) Eberle, 81, 401 Baxter St., Attica, died at 7 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2002 in Silver Cross Hospital, Joliet, Ill. She was born May 31, 1921 in Ladoga, the daughter of George and Myra Edna Zimmerman Otterman. She married Ralph L. Eberle Jan. 16, 1937 in Veedersburg. He preceded in death June 20, 1977. She was a life resident of Attica, attending Attica High School. She worked as a clerk for the A & P Grocery in Attica, Kokomo, Lafayette and Crawfordsville. She enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles and making comforters. Survivors include: three grandchildren, Brian (Brenda) Eberle, Manhattan, Ill., Jason (Amy) Eberle, Gibson City, Ill. and Amy (Dan) Richardson, Mandeville, La.; and six great-grandchildren, Nicole, Krista, Blake and Madison Eberle and McKenzie and Christian Richardson. She was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Eberle; two brothers and two sisters. Memorial gravesite services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Riverside Cemetery, Attica, with Dickie Otterman officiating. – jlr
